Toyota, the Most Reliable Brand

Toyota managed to get 17 top 10 ratings in the report, with eight models achieving the highest score in the 5 different vehicle age categories (2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 and 10-11 year old). With these figures, Toyota is the car maker with the most reliable cars this year.
TUV has found that the Prius is pretty much the most reliable car in its class. The most successful hybrid to date was closely followed by the Auris, the Verso, the Avensis, the RAV4 and the Yaris.
“This year’s outstanding performance by Toyota in every vehicle age category reflects the exceptional reliability of the brand, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the highest possible quality across its entire model range,” Toyota said after hearing the results.
Of course, the TUV report takes into consideration the performance of the car over long periods of time, and perhaps this is why the carmaker was not slammed by the organization because of the recalls it conducted all year long.
The TUV looks at cars from a different view than other similar organizations do. They take into account the long-term overview of vehicle quality and durability, and it is mainly used as a guide for buyers of both new and used cars.
