The Toyota GT 86 has received tons and tons of attention from the aftermarket world, wit hthe result ranging from mild changes to wild transformations. The latest example of this definitely belongs to the latter category: a visual kit that tries to tun it into a Lexus LFA.
The visual package comes from DAMD, wears the LFT-86 designation and offers the GT 86 a full LFA makeover. The greatest changes have been made to the rear apron, which has even received the LFA’s exhaust layout.
The side skirts have also been tweaked and so has the front fascia, but these modifications somehow manage to need a bit of attention in order to stand out. It’s interesting to see how a tuning company can connect the opposite ends of Toyota’s performance car range. The final result of the job doesn't look half bad, but the development may still risk being filed under “overkill”.
