If you believe there is some trick involved, please take a good look at all the pics: the Thunderbike PainTTless is indeed a paintless custom motorcycle, with all the surfaces being treated in various ways to achieve this breathtaking result.
It took more than 8 months of relentless painstaking efforts from the German builders to get to the point where this bike looked simply perfect. Using copper, brass, chrome, gold and advanced technologies, Thunderbike has managed to color the bike and man, they did an awesome job!
The engine is a 1000cc Harley-Davidson Ironhead unit, powering the first Sportster series, but it had to be almost entirely rebuilt as it did not fit the PainTTles the way its creators wanted. Extensive CNC machining has provided in the end the new crankcase and gearbox housing, together with most of the other components of the bike.
The overall look of the Thunderbike PainTTless came as a tribute to the 1930's racing bikes, often competing on the US salt lakes. The PainTTless won the AMD World Championships this year, and we might say it's a triple win: besides the craved accolades, we're looking at the first H-D authorized dealer to wind the AMD, and at the first German competitor to get this award ever.
