Every time we go to one of these huge motor shows, there's a long list of things to remember, including where all the venues are and the specs of the the most important cars. But when Lamborghini has something to show, a little lightbulb turns on in our heads, almost to say "I wonder what the girls look like this year. Better check it out!"
Not only did the new Asterion hybrid steal the show, but the girls didn't disappoint either, beautiful in every way. We can still remember the models they hired for the 2010 Paris Motor Show and we have to say their 2014 counterparts are a little less voluptuous, less "va va voom". This is perhaps fitting, considering the Asterion look less brutish than the Aventador.
Normally, we'd have to apologize for using this kind of language. But this is Lamborghini, and a quick check of any of their press releases will reveal that every kind of metaphor is allowed and encouraged.
Of course, the Italian didn't have a monopoly on beauty of both automotive or human form in Paris. The Mondial de l'Automobile featured one particularly eye-catching model at the Nissan stand, dragging all the attention towards the new Pulsar. Meanwhile, Renault, Citroen and Peugeot all showed the world the advantages of playing on home turf.
