Yesterday we saw how a Bugatti Veyron in SuperSport guise failed to impress in a battle against a supercharged Kawasaki Ninja H2R. The 1200 horsepower of the Veyron are surely a cool feat in the world of supercars, but still not a matching figure for a bike that produces 300 hp.
In terms of power-to-weight ratio, bikes have had the upper hand all the time, and the exceptions are negligible. Even so, from time to time, bikes got a run for their money, just like this very H2R did, when a Nissan GT-R smoked it utterly.
Out of the three supercars, the McLaren seems the least fit for a race against the Ninja H2R. The truth is that the McLaren is indeed the most well-behaved of the three. With around 625 hp in stock trim, the battle is a most unfair one, and the Ninja H2R is the worst choice for an opponent.
This sort of dulls the victory for the Akashi machine and does rather little to wash away the shame from the race against the Nissan GT-R. Still, this is only the beginning...
Revenge is mine
Now, we don't know exactly the sequence of runs, but we dream that this one was the last. The race of revenge, if you want. While the GT-R left the Ninja H2R without a replica, winning the half-mile in an authoritative manner, the Kawasaki did the very same thing to the McLaren, only much worse.Out of the three supercars, the McLaren seems the least fit for a race against the Ninja H2R.
