Introducing the Saturn Sky Customized by Vilner [Photo Gallery]
You have to love the Bulgarian tuners Vilner, who’s projects have even included a pair of rugged Land Rover Defenders for a "Russian oligarch". This time, they’ve taken a car built under a long-gone brand, Saturn, and based on another car which we haven’t heard of in a long time, the Opel GT, and turned it into something magical.
The European speedster turned American roadster was brought over by a customer who wanted something different for the little Saturn Sky.
Vilner started with the exterior by covering the stock paint with blue pearl vinyl wrap. This is set off by matte black accents on the grille, mirror caps, rear diffuser and the alloy wheels. Want some extra luxury with that sir? Fine, how about some custom LEDs and golden accents here and there.
But it on the inside where the tuner really shines, as they are masters of leatherwork. Just check out those custom-made leather seats made in red and and the black accents on most surfaces along with carbon-fibre trim accents. Those gold accents have also made it onto the steering wheel and door sills. There’s at least four colors on this car, but they’ve pulled it off well!
