BMW decided to ‘initiate’ the new M4 instead of launching it in the States. In order to do so, they started calling some of the members of the biggest forums around, including the BMW Car Club of America, to ask for a couple of favors.
What they actually wanted was to get a couple of M cars from enthusiasts on a private parking lot so that drifting driver Chris Forsberg would drift around and in between them to sort of prove a point... Yeah, actually to show us what cool really means.
Said and done. The BMW community rose to the occasion, as usual, getting together no less than 52 cars from 37 enthusiasts. Whole families were involved in the making of this video and it was all worth it.
Of course, we’ll let you watch the whole thing but, as as a (too) small writing in it says, we’d like to warn you, once again, that under no circumstances are you to try and replicate what you see here. They had a professional driver behind the wheel, a closed course, some rare cars and paramedics on site. You DON’T HAVE THAT! Don’t try this at home!
Now that we got that out of the way, we won’t keep you any longer. Enjoy!
