Being a parent must be pretty tough, especially because you might be forced into giving up on your little pleasures to dedicate more time to your level 1 human. Or, if you’re skilled enough, the system can be tricked and you can do both.
And one of the best examples comes from Thailand, where a tuning shop owner decided to create a real-life version of Cars’ main character - Lighting McQueen - using a Toyota GT 86.
You know how they say that men are like children wearing a full-sized body? Well, imagine what people would have said if Ryan Lee - the shop owner - would have built the McQueen 86 for nothing else than his own pleasure.
Childish, they would've said. But Lee had a small ace in his sleeve.
And when we say small, we’re talking about around 2-feet-tall, because his son Lucas has a special affinity for Lightning McQueen. The perfect reason for his dad to turn his red GT 86 into the well known character and turn the whole thing into a win-win situation.
So, the car got a custom livery, black racing rims and even an eyed windscreen shade. And for the car to live up to the character’s name, several performance parts went under its hood to boost the power well over 300 hp.
For proof that the wife is totally agreeing with the husband’s project and the toddler’s priceless reaction, check out the clip bellow.
