Based on the normal Sierra, the Elevation Edition is GMC's most menacing visual pack for the full-size workhorse. Just as the Sierra 1500, the goodies list starts with the signature GMC LED lighting, projector-beam headlamps, and the 2016 model year redesigned front end. Only available as a double cab, the Elevation Edition adds 20-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, unique badging, body-color bumpers, moldings, handles, mirror caps, and a similarly black grille surround for extra visual drama.

If you need more punch, a 355 horsepower 5.3-liter V8 is available, offering a trailering capacity of up to 9,400 pounds (4,263 kg). Four-wheel drive is optional, yet the Eaton locking rear differential comes as standard even on the two-wheel drive GMC Sierra Elevation Edition. Customers can up the ante with all-terrain tires, a Rear Vision camera system, specialized trailering equipment, and XM Radio.
