When talking about tuning, Korean design is often overlooked, purely because their Japanese counterparts have been doing it for far longer. However, both Kia and Hyundai now make aggressive-looking sports models and this is reflected in the aftermarket scene, at least domestically. We've recently stumbled upon something called "LED tuning" taking the land of the Gangnam Style by storm.
Using the latest generation of high-power custom diodes, a company called exLED has created custom graphics for the newly launched mid-size sedan from Hyundai. In Korea, the new Sonata is called an LF Sonata, probably because the old model is still in production. But essentially, we're talking about the same thing as the 2015 Sonata sold in US showroom.

exLED's system s built using individual LED bars that they put together into a kit. Just like on retrofit BMW Corona Rings, you'll probably have to open the headlight and install them yourself after the purchase. The Sonata's headlight unit appears to be held together using clips and screws, so you won't have to cut it. But small holes need to be made in order to get the wires through.

The upside is this kit is relatively cheap and ships to the US and China, priced at 184,00 Korean won for the set (equivalent to $190). If you're tempted, here's where to order: exledmall.com
