Warning: this piece of news might contain material that is not suitable for all tastes. Automotive enthusiasts that might have a certain problem with controversial tuning packages are advised to seek help in order to view this material.

The Italian tuning company Fenice Milano has decided to use its “golden” tuning for a new project, which is based on the topless version of the Fiat 500. Yes, the shiny parts you see in the adjacent image are covered with real, 24k gold.

Before we start, we’ll remind you that the 500C isn’t the only vehicle which has received this treatment. As we reported a few days ago, the tuner has also used this approach for the Rolls Royce Phantom.

Getting back to the Fiat 500C, we’ll report that the list of gold-plated parts includes the front bumper and hood ornaments, front and rear wheelarches, side pillars, headlight ornaments, badges, exterior mirrors, door handles and even the tailpipe. We must mention that we’re not pretty sure of the practicality of a gold-plated tailpipe.

The tuner hasn’t released any interior image of the creation but announced that the cabin has been fitted with multiple custom elements that allow it to offer the same level of luxury as the exterior.

The modification kit also targets the 1.4 liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine of the vehicle, which has received a new air intake, a custom exhaust system and an ECU remap.

The Fenice Gold Fiat 500C uses a custom suspension and rides on bespoke lightweight alloy rims that use a... golden finish.
