LAMBORGHINI Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale Review

A few years ago, the otherwise peaceful small town of Sant'Agata Bolognese in Italy confronted itself with a very consuming issue. People couldn't sleep anymore because of all the agitation caused by Lamborghini employees. The men and women working for Lambo didn't want to disturb the civilians on purpose, but they just couldn't help themselves. Whenever the working hours were over, they went home, but the moment they came in the door, they just felt an uncontrollable energy that they didn't know what to do with.

The situation escalated rapidly and the authorities turned to medical science in order to deal with it. It was determined that Lamborghini's staff was suffering from an extremely rare condition called "the need to take your game to the race track". Thus, they built the Gallardo Super Trofeo racer, invented the world's first all-wheel drive one-make race series for it and things went back to normal in Sant'Agata.

However, as their racing series became more and more successful, history repeated itself. To calm things down, the major rushed into Lamborghini's headquarters and asked them to solve the problem quickly. Lamborghini decided to build the Gallardo LP570-4 Blancpain, essentially a street-legal version of their racer. Alas, the car arrived in such limited numbers that it wasn't nearly enough to help the staff get over its urge to build new, extreme things.

Threatened with the shutting down of its factory, the Italians were forced to give their employees a more serious task on this topic.

Thus, Lamborghini came up with the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale and this time they asked their employees to build 150 of them.

So let's see if we got things straight. They took the Gallardo, converted it into a racer and then they've turned the motorsport version back into a street car. This doesn't seem to make sense. Then again, Lamborghini doesn't sell cars because its creations make sense.
