autoevolution's Iconic Vehicles Month

We humans have a habit of classifying absolutely everything around us based on more or less objective criteria. This habit is partially responsible for our push to better ourselves every chance we get, as we strive to be part of the group at the top, not the one at the bottom.

Yet even the group at the top has its own stars, those who are better than all others, the game-changers, the visionaries, the icons celebrated and admired by all others. And this applies not only to people, but to the technology we create as well.

For more than a year now we’ve been running special, month-long coverages of subjects we hold dear. We’ve dedicated the efforts of our team of writers to carmakers and bike makers, to the Earth itself, and to the space around it. But this October, we’ll go the extra mile, and do something truly special.

This October, autoevolution is celebrating the Iconic Vehicles Month. And by vehicles, we mean all those extraordinary pieces of technology that revolutionized their respective fields, went down in history for one reason or another, or helped humanity grow beyond its natural borders.

From cars to motorcycles, from submarines to spaceships, from machines of war to machines of fun, all will get their extra 15 minutes of fame here, exposed in all their glory and the most minute of detail.
