Zlatan Ibrahimovic is probably still the most important celebrity you can spot behind the wheel of a supercar in Stockholm, Sweden. The football superstar was just seen behind the wheel of his epic new Ferrari Monza SP2, which is so exotic only a few folks have seen one in real life.
To say that Zlatan is passionate about supercars would be an understatement. He's owned numerous Porsche and Ferraris, plus we believe the blue Mercedes-AMG GT in this video might also be his.

The Monza SP2 is probably his most exotic machine yet. It was delivered about a month ago during the quarantine, and we believe this to be its first outing. As with most examples, the paint combination is a special-order deal.

The SP2 was introduced in October of 2018 at the Paris Motor Show together with its single-seat brother, the SP1. Both cars represent the start of something new and interesting for Ferrari, the Icona limited edition series, paying tribute to special models from Ferrari's history.

"Monza" is the salute given to Ferrari racing cars that sported that name in the 1950s, like the 750 and 850. The modern car is based loosely on the 812 Superfast but shares virtually none of the design and is made of lightweight carbon fiber.

The speedster design is what makes this undeniably cool and different. There's no roof or windshield, yet Zlatan chose to drive without a helmet, protected only by sunglasses. Is this less scary for him than the LaFerrari or more? We'd love to know.

The power for both the SP1 and the SP2 comes from the familiar 6.5-liter engine, and at 799 horsepower, this is one of the most powerful Ferrari V12 road car ever offered. However, the LaFerrari hypercar was even more powerful thanks to an electric motor. The soccer star also owned the 875 horsepower Porsche 918 Spyder.
