In recent months, the frequency of supercar crashes has increased, and we have tried to cover and post all of them. This latest one comes from Cape Town, South Africa, where a Zimbabwean property tycoon, called Frank Buyanga, recently crashed his red Ferrari 458 Italia.
Apparently, he was driving a bit too quickly, and somehow lost control of the car, in the wet weather. The crash took place last Thursday, and while it seems to have been quite violent, modern supercars are very tough, and the driver walked away unscathed.

Still, with the clever traction control and highly-advanced electronic brain Ferrari have given the 458, the car is very stable and confidence-inspiring, even in the wet, and even when pushed a bit too hard. It is highly unlikely that the driver pushed the car over its limits, as you need some serious guts to do so, so it was probably just driver error which caused the crash.

To get a complete picture of what the Ferrari 458 looks like and is like to drive, do read our full and very comprehensive test drive of the car, complete with a stunning HD photo gallery.
