Zilla iPhone App Turns Your Car into a GT-R

The R35 Nissan GT-R’s aura is so great that is now expanding to other cars. Of course, Godzilla couldn’t borrow its genius-like four-wheel-driver system or its VR36DETT twin-turbo V6 unit, but it is willing to share its complex on-board computer that allows the driver to get all the info he needs, such as speed, G forces and others.

So, let’s get to the point: we are talking about an iPhone app that mimics the GT-R’s aforementioned functions. The app, which was released by Bonobo Labs, uses the Zilla name.

View acceleration, braking and cornering G forces, speed, air temp and more with stylish supercar inspired dials. Plot the G forces on your car with live graphs just like you're driving a GT-R! View the weight transfer of your car in real time with the tyre diagram and F1 style G-force indicator. Customise the layout of the screen with over 15 different data views and multiple sizes on screen to choose from,” explains the press release.

The list of features includes:
  • Graphics that will make you go daaaamn
  • Customisable screen layouts
  • A car app actually designed to be usable as you drive.
  • Easy to press buttons, big readouts.
  • Designed to look and work perfectly in both portrait and landscape.
  • High contrast interface that is visible even when driving in full sunlight
  • iPod integration - control the music playing and see album artwork, track, song etc.
  • GPS based speed readout with near Chuck Norris level of accuracy
  • Easy one tap calibration, just tap the screen when you get in your car and go!

You can download the Zilla app for $2.99 by following this link.
