Zero Gravity Launches 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Windscreens

Aftermarket specialist Zero Gravity decided to give the 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, which had its public debut at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan, a boost in image with the new line-up of specially developed windscreens that come available in four distinctive shapes.

The SR Series, which approximates the size and shape of the OEM windscreen, adds flare to the bike's look in Smoke or additional clarity over stock when ordered in clear. The Double Bubble is Zero Gravity's version of the now popular "stepped profile" design pioneered by Zero Gravity Racing in the mid-90's.

Sculpted to the ZX-10R's distinctive race lines, the Zero Gravity Double Bubble enhances the bike's race look while providing added aerodynamics. The "Corsa Series" screen, shaped to emulate the factory race bikes campaigned on the World Superbike circuit, is approximately 1.25" (31.75mm) taller than OEM screen providing additional wind protection while tucked in at speed.

Last, the tallest shield in the range, the Sport Touring Series (23-263), which is 1.5" (38.1mm) taller than stock, provides additional wind protection for street or touring applications.

“Zero Gravity screens are made with cutting edge technology and feature a precise fit, hand polished visible edges and distortion free optical clarity,”
the company brags.

Available in a variety of colors, Zero Gravity's new ZX-10R windscreens start at $79.95 and are protected with a limited factory warranty.

The 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R machine, which is said to boast the most advanced traction-control system in all of production motorcycling, has a MSRP of $13,799 and is available in Flat Ebony and Lime Green.
