Zero Excuses for This Ducati 848 Crash

No pity, but no bashing also, for this Ducati 848 rider, as it looks like he kind of knew what could happen. Riding hard on mountain roads, it was only natural that gravel and sand waited after one of the corners. Luckily it looks like the chap made it with no injuries and the bikes also fared better in reality than we expected after watching this video.
Gravel on the road through turns is dangerous even for street-enduro bikes shod with dual-sport tires... as for a streetfighter with 100% asphalt-focused rubber, it's no use starting the debate.

At the same time, the power-to-asphalt deployment is completely different in case of a bike such as the Ducati 848, and it also does not exactly work in the favor of the rider in such conditions.

Even more, the chap was really lucky not having his bike bouncing back from the mountain wall or tumbling on the road. We saw how extensive the damage can be in certain unfortunate scenarios, and repairing a heavily mauled Ducati is anything but cheap.
