Zenvo Release Statement About Disastrous Top Gear ST1 Review

We're sure that most of you are already aware about the rather calamitous review of the Zenvo ST1 supercar on the Top Gear show last week, when the 1104 hp monster was pretty much presented as an GBP 800,000 death trap with wheels.
Jeremy Clarkson's conclusion came after a range of problems happened with the Zenvo ST1 during the review, culminating with the Danish supercar catching on fire.

Not only that, but after The Stig had its way with it on a rain-drenched Top Gear test track it only managed to post a time even slower than a Ford Focus ST.

Well, that was one side of the story, as the Danish from Zenvo responded today via the Pro-Street website with an official statement from the other side of the fence.  According to that, it seems that Jeremy Clarkson wasn't entirely accurate about everything that happened with the ST1 during the time that the Top Gear crew played with it.

Even though it's only natural for Zenvo to be defensive about the whole ordeal with the car, they do bring some interesting points in the press release and we kind of tend to believe them. You can read the press release in its entirety bellow, but not before you watch the ST1 segment from the show. Until the BBC takes it down from YouTube, that is.
