Zenos, the brand started by former Caterham CEO Ansar Ali, has announced the first public presence of the new E10 R.
Like the previous cars from Zenos, the 350 BHP E10 R will be shown at the Performance Car Show, held at the Birmingham NEC on January 14-17, 2016. This will be the third consecutive Zenos launched at this event, and the visitors will be the first from the public to see the company’s most-focused and fastest model so far.

In case you’re unfamiliar with what Zenos does and what an E10 R is, it’s time to fill you in on the latest car from this small manufacturer.

The Zenos E10 R is a road-legal track day car made in Great Britain. The vehicle is light and fitted with a 350 BHP, 2.3-liter, Ford EcoBoost Engine. Thanks to the high output of this engine and the diminished weight of the car, the E10 R provides a power-to-weight ratio of 500 BHP/tonne.

For a road-legal car that doesn’t cost a fortune, the numbers are impressive. Speaking of the price, the E10 R starts at 39,995 British pounds, making it one of the most affordable cars with that particular power-to-weight ratio.

If you were to compare the E10 R to its predecessors, the E10 S and the E10, the new model has better brakes, new spring and damper rates, and new, lightweight wheels. Just the wheels alone cut 10 kilograms from the car’s weight, not to mention the serious dynamic improvements brought by the reduction in unsprung mass.

Along with the privilege of being the first to see the Zenos E10 R, the show’s visitors will also get the chance to win a Zenos driver training day. That particular prize includes driving the E10 S and a passenger ride in the E10 R. All they have to do to enter is follow @ZenosCars on Twitter and then tweet a picture of themselves at the Zenos stand. If you’re an attendant of the Birmingham show, don’t forget to use the hashtags #E10Ready, #ASI16 and #PCS16 to make sure you’ve entered the competition.
