We all have that filthy rich uncle (ok, not every one of us) who’s still stuck in the 80s and lives in a million-dollar beach house. Well, YouTuber Danny Duncan is one of those lucky ones. On a recent upload, he checked into his uncle’s $30 million mansion with his band of friends and got the chance to ride …err sorry, drive an amphibious $250,000 car.
We’ll have to give props to James Bond films for inspiring modern automotive technology, as some of his action-packed movies had a hand in recent automotive breakthroughs, including amphibious cars. And if anyone’s going to own a car that drives on the water, in real life, they definitely come from Florida.

Duncan’s uncle, real estate tycoon Ben Mallah, invited him to his $30 million mansion in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Duncan had just struck gold after winning a bid on a storage unit auction, and as he was visiting a $30 million house on a two-and-a-half acre lot on a private beach, he might as well take a tour.

His uncle was more than generous to take him around the mansion that features a bowling alley, two-story paneled library, trophy room (with a classic Chevy SS-designed pool table), and a wine cellar. In 2019, this gulf-front mansion was rated the most expensive house in Tampa Bay by Tampa Bay Times.

A million-dollar house mansion tour doesn’t suffice without a car park tour. Duncan and his friends got to take out some of his uncle's toys, including a Rewaco RF1 LT, Rolls Royce, and the highlight of the visit, a WaterCar Panther.

The amphibious car, obviously inspired by the Jeep Wrangler, drives on land, and doubles as a boat. The WaterCar is an ingenious creation of engineer Dave March, who founded the WaterCar company in 1999, and you can experience it on the go in the video below.
