Roman Atwood is one of the biggest people on YouTube right now and has been for several years. Earlier this week, Forbes did a thing that said he was the second highest paid person on the website with $8 million a year.
Oh, Forbes, you used to be a factually correct magazine with relevant stuff. Even though I don't think Roman makes that much money, he is still a celebrity that brings in millions and can afford to live the life some people dream of. Who am I kidding, I want to afford to finance anything more expensive than a pencil sharpener.
Anyway, Mister Atwood hasn't had the best of luck with his past cars, as the Dodge Dart SRT4 he owned burst into flames a while back. More recently, there was also an Internet hoax that said he died in his red GT-R.
But as much as he loves the crazy power and launch of the current model, Roman seems to be an old-fashioned kind of guy. He says he likes the old-fashioned kind of cars more, especially the R34's back end.
The funny thing is that even though he's supposed to be the second richest YouTuber and he clearly loves GT-Rs, he doesn't actually buy the R34 after the test drive. He might be thinking about it or whatnot, but the way we see things, this is 100% clickbait.
I mean, Roman could have sold advertising to McDonald's in this particular video and make enough money for that old GT-R. Sure, you can act humble for the sake of your viewers, but what's the point of making vlogs if you're not even going to do something amazing with your time? There's that kid Mo from the Middle East who buys a new Ferrari or Lamborghini every couple of months.
I can't imagine what that old salesman thought when Roman said he'd pay for all three GT-Rs with an IOU. Sure, Roman can crack a joke here and there, but where are the pranks? There hasn't been one of those in seven months.
