The classic jet-ski’s days are numbered as the Jetovator hit the market and promises to crank up the fun by quite a lot. Not only does it provide a riding-like position and control but it also takes you up into the air for the ultimate beach fun.
Most of us motorcyclists enjoy the thrills of a ride because it gives us the sensation we are almost flying on the nose of an airplane. For some, that’s even better than flying because the road scenery flashing by and the unobstructed view amplifies the speed sensation.
Now you can imagine the joy this Jetovator can bring to a biker. The machine offers a sportbike-like position, with your body reclined forward, feet towards the back on big foot-rests and knees propped against some soft pads. You even get some sort of handlebar to hold onto and steer the thing.
The Jetovator doesn’t come with its own engine, since it would be too heavy for lifting, but it does come with a 40 ft (12 m) connecting hose you can pair with the high-output Sea Doo, Kawasaki or Yamaha ski-jet of choice. Naturally, you’ll also need a second person to ride the jet and follow your direction.
You won’t get up to highway speeds on this thing, but the 25 mph (40.2 km/h) and the 40 ft (12 m) in height it can reach, with the possibility to do flips or get underwater, are sure to put a big smile on any rider’s face.
According to the company that makes the “sea-bike”, well over 1000 people have learned to safely ride the Jetovator and they all found it easy to use. People are usually flying comfortably after only 10 minutes. The ride can be very mild or very wild, so is fun for all skill levels.
