Even though BMW went through a lot of trouble to design a brand new color for their BMW M4 Concept car, we can't wait until the production version comes out to see other colors on the new high-performance Coupe.
In anticipation of seeing what the Germans have to offer, we took a stab at trying out different colors from the Aurum Gold shade the Concept wore at its official unveiling at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
That's why we put together a photo gallery with the M4 in other colors. Amongst the ones you'll find in the adjacent photo gallery you’ll encounter approximates of paint jobs that became famous thanks to previous models: Melbourne Red, Space Grey, Estoril Blue.
At the same time, we also went a bit overboard doing some unusual colors too like a mint green or light blue, colors that, even though we're not sure exist in the BMW catalogue, sure do look hot like hell.
Judging by what the concept is showing us, things are looking good at the moment. The roof is made of carbon fiber and that would take some weight off, for sure. Unfortunately, we’re not sure right now that it will enter production in this exact guise.
Under the bonnet a return to the inline 6-cylinder architecture is expected with a twin-turbo 3-liter mill good for around 450 HP and considerably more torque than the 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of the current E92 M3.
Couple all those things together and we should see a rather potent replacement for the legendary M3 Coupe in the shape of the M4.

In the meantime, we have to wait and see how the M4 turns out.
