Atlanta trapstar Young Jeezy is getting ready to release his sixth Def Jam mixtape called “Seen It All: The Autobiography” on September 2nd. So Jezzy delivered the visuals for the first single called “Me Ok.” Like all these rappers do, fans cans see the 36-year old artist visiting neighbors in Atlanta who struggle with poverty just to show he’s success and wealth. And he’s driving a Camaro SS while at it.
Oh yes, I’m a bad boy, I visit my poor folks in Atlanta, I rhyme on rooftops, draped in jewelry and diamonds while spitting my ghetto scriptures. Yo! That’s basically everything I can remember after trying to listen to this fellow’s entire single. “Me Ok” is the first single Young Jeezy released from the upcoming project, and he then followed it up with his long-awaited “Seen It All” collaboration featuring Jay Z.
And looking at this rapper’s so called creation you’d say he’s just the average money avid who shakes his hands and writes bad boy lyrics. In fact, Jeezy’s second album “The Inspiration,” released in 2006, and his third, “The Recession,” released one year later, both yielded chart-topping singles. He also appeared on numerous other hip hop and R&B singles such as "Say I" by Christina Milian, "I’m So Paid" by Akon or "Hard" by Rihanna. To date, he even received four Grammy nominations.
So, are we looking at a successful artist from Atlanta or not? Well, looking at the cars these fellows usually drive in their videos, you’d say he’s rather a classic car enthusiast than the rich owner. I mean, where is the Rolls-Royce Wraith, where are the Ferraris and the Lambos? Don’t get us wrong, we love the Chevy Camaro SS, but we thought rappers are supposed to act all cocky with thousand-dollars rides in their clips.
