According to Mercedes-Benz, the G-Class will be produced through 2012 on the continuing demand worldwide for the model by military and civilian buyers. As for the civilian buyers, we never thought the vehicle will be the choice of young ladies, but Duff and Tisdale are now showing their tough side.
In fact, Duff got the SUV as a present for her 20th birthday from her boyfriend, NHL player Mike Comrie. We should have imagined Duff in a vehicle like this though, especially after we saw the young actress and singer performing in the ‘Cadet Kelly’ Disney movie, where her character, a free-spirited eighth grade girl, enrolls the military school, but in the end has no trouble fitting in and obeying the orders of the officers above her.
On the other hand, Tisdale became famous with her role in the High School Musical movies, but other than that, we can’t say she's made such a big impression at Hollywood. Whether she only copied Duff or the G-Wagon is indeed the car of her dreams we can’t say, but she is definitely not matching the SUV.
Maybe her next choice will be something red, sporty and convertible, that would go better with her rich schoolgirl image that we’ve gotten so used to. We're not to say she can’t afford it, since Tisdale was ranked #6 in "Forbes' Hollywood's 10 Top-Paid Tweens" list, earned $2.8 million for her performance in High School Musical 3 and was ranked #17 in "Forbes' High Earners Under 30" list in 2008.
