The main advantage of using electric bicycles as means of transportation is that they can reduce traffic jams, air pollution, and help with the big problem that is parking space. E-bikes power you along without you putting in too much leg work, and what better way to travel this way than on a personalized two-wheeler?
Mixing retro-cool with high-end tech, Rayvolt U.K. is here to share its customizable services and make its range of bikes stand out. From the Cruzer model, inspired by the 60’s rock culture, to the latest e-bike dubbed The Trixie, their range is designed to satisfy different tastes. And if that doesn’t happen, personalization is their thing.

“More than a third of our Cruzer models are delivered with some form of personalisation, but increasingly customers want a functional form of art,” said Rayvolt U.K.’s Managing Director, Graham Kresfelder.

Every model in the company's lineup has in terms of design various color options available, plus an unlimited pallet of colors as per request. Rayvolt doesn't limit the choices to paints though. You can opt for different leather tool rolls, saddles, frame bags and battery bags. Now you can match your e-bike’s frame color to that of your car, pretty cool I'd say.

The customization offer from Rayvolt is just part of something they call the "white-glove" strategy. According to the company, this service is meant to guarantee that the customer gets the most from his e-bike.

As for the products Rayvolt makes, they pair a 48V DC motor with batteries packing 1000W of power, and that’s enough juice to pump an e-bike for up to 50 miles (80 km). However, if you decide to put your legs to work, these machines can take you even further, as they do offer a smart braking system that extends the battery’s range. When the brakes are activated, the thumb-controlled throttle will include a motor cut-out to ensure a safe ride.

The Rayvolt e-bikes can achieve a speed of 30 mph (48 kph), which is not bad, especially in crowded cities when you don’t want to cut too fast through the traffic.

The Rayvolt U.K. range of premium e-bikes starts at £2.500 ($3.489), so if you plan to match your e-bike with your style, you’ll have to dig deep in your pockets.
