As you all know, there is no better way to make yourself heard and noticed on the road than with a good muffler. After offering new exhausts for Yamaha’s YZF-R1, Yoshimura couldn’t leave Honda aside, and released the RS-5 range for the 2009 CBR600RR enthusiasts.
Through the new RS-5 undertail exhausts, Yoshimura provides more power and an updated look for the Japanese bike, reflecting its racing heritage. The CBR600RR has won every world supersport title since the very debut of the series back in 2003.
The new CBR600RR will have an available option of "Combined ABS", which integrates combined braking, anti-lock braking, and brake-by-wire systems. Power output stands at 120bhp, with a midrange torque between 8,000 and 12,000 rpm to a maximum of 3.5% more than the older models. However, Yoshimura’s Stainless Full System can add a 5 horsepower increase over OEM.
Yoshimura remains one of the largest performance aftermarket sportbike exhaust producer. The new exhausts design from Yoshimura, currently available in Slip-on and Full System configurations, produces more horsepower and improves power delivery.
CBR600RR owners can enjoy the low volume inserts and carbon fiber end-cap, and are able to choose from stainless steel, carbon fiber or titanium sleeve material.
