Officially, we still have about a week of winter left, but we all know that seasons don't always come or leave on time and there are still plenty of areas out there who are having snowy roads problems.
With the advent of modern technology, most countries have learned to get by with heavy snowfalls using various vehicles. Nowadays, pretty much every government that has to handle problems like these is using snowplows.

By using a blade to push the snow and ice from a road to the side, most snowplows are built using large trucks as the base vehicles, since those are the only ones who can handle an oversized blade and additional equipment.

For example, either generation of the petite smart fortwo could never be considered a good candidate to be transformed into a snowplow, unless used as a prank/joke, right?

Wrong. A German company called Rontex has an entire fleet of tiny fortwos fitted with snow blades up front, and we assure you they are no joke, as the following videos will cutely depict.

Used mainly to get rid of the light snow on sidewalks, they actually seem to do a pretty good job, or much better than we had expected. Either way, they are funny as hell.
