The guys at Prior Design make a lot of cool body kits for Nissan GT-Rs, Audi R8s and even Corvettes. However, our favorite section of their website involves the BMW brand.
The hero of the day is not an M6, even though the wide hips and quad exhaust system would lead you to believe that. Instead, we're dealing with another V8, the 650i, which used to be a little bit more understated.
Prior changed all that rather quickly with the help of a widebody kit. This cosmetic package thickens the hips to DTM race levels and touches all the other body parts that are connected. So we have extra-beefy bumpers, a new spoiler at the back and vents that look both dangerous and cool.
The front bumper has thin winglets on it, like a racing car, while the bonnet is vented in several places and starts with a huge hump just to let you know it means business. This particular 6 Series also has a few extra lights, the factory-fitted LED headlight system and the black M6-like grille.
The icing on the cake is the color, which is Yas Marina Blue. It was made famous during the launch of the F80 M3 sedan a short while ago and the larger, wider 6 Series fits it well too.
This custom project wouldn't be complete without the right stance. Vossen Wheels took care of that with a set of gunmetal VPS-306 units, wrapped with Pirelli P-Zero tires. Behind them, we have Brembo brakes with red calipers and a KW K3 Variant coilover suspension system.
