One of the perks of being one of the top MotoGP riders in the world is that you get to play with all sorts of toys that are cool beyond comparison. In case you don't take our words for granted, hit the play button on the video after the jump and get ready to sigh.
Video games have become increasingly complex over the last years, with excellent graphics and better AI algorithms. Even more, the advent of virtual reality brings with it the promise of gaming experiences that are utterly immersive, and we guess we can bet that the near future will make it hard to differentiate between actual, real-life images and those created by computers.

Still, nothing can rival the actual physical sensations people experience while riding a motorcycle. Albeit not real bikes, top-of-the-line simulators can do a good job already, and watching three-time MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo could not be a better proof.

Surely, such MotoGP simulators are not for everyone, but now and then, the audience is allowed to use them at certain events. This time, Lorenzo is riding the simulator at a Movistar Yamaha event ahead of the Catalan GP at Barcelona, and, judging by the way he sticks out his tongue, the Spaniard seems to enjoy to quite a lot.

Toys are toys, and this video is an excellent proof that shows that the inner child doesn't entirely fade away in the hearts of some grown-ups. Now, we can almost bet that even most of the cruiser riders who are not necessarily thrilled by MotoGP and other racing series would have the same facial expression as Jorge Lorenzo if they got the chance to ride this M1 simulator.

Can you fathom how cool would this machine be is paired with VR goggles and riding apps such as the new Kawasaki one?
