Yamaha has left us waiting for a quarter-liter bike for quite some time now, but it looks like the wait was really worth it: welcome the R25, Yamaha's all-new sport bike, derived from the amazing M1 MotoGP machine.
If anything, we have to admit that R25 looks better than pretty much any other 250cc-class bikes. We simply fell in love with the styling which is as close to the M1 as it could ever be, a truly powerful and loud statement Yamaha makes in this market segment.
The tech specs are yet unknown, but if we are to believe some whispers in the industry, the R25 aims to smash the competition, the new 300cc bikes from Honda and Kawasaki included.
The R25 will be showed at the Tokyo Motor Show very soon, and we'll bring you more on it as details surface.
Oh, and by the way, either Rossi is a great actor, or the smile on his face is a genuine one. Either way, the R25 looks absolutely fantastic!
