Even though MT-10, the newest addition to Yamaha's line-up is a vile machine derived from the R1, the accessories Iwata prepared for this bike can turn it into a true sport-touring bike with daily all-rounder functionality.
The MT-10 accessories catalog comprises around 50 products that will boost the practicality of this liter-class naked bike for both city and travel use. We won't enumerate the entire catalog here, as this would be utterly futile, with a trip to your nearest Yamaha dealer representing the best thing you can do, and the most revealing, too.

However, we were pleasantly surprised that Iwata thought about more than the R1 heritage of this model. We were thrilled to see side stand extension on the list, revealing that Yamaha also considered taking this bike to other places than asphalt. That is, not necessarily off-road, but traveling and reaching places that are no longer part of the "asphalt empire."

Adjustable billet foot controls are also in the catalog, providing solid adjustability for the pegs, rear brake and gear shift pedals. No less that 20 positions are possible with this OEM add-on manufactured by Gilles Tooling. The sophisticated design eliminates play thanks to precise sliding and pivoting adjustment and bearings.

Two top cases are also available in 35 and 50-liter sizes (9.25 and 13.2 US gal), with accessory inner bags to keep things tidy, complemented by hardshell panniers and no less than three tank bags, in city, tour and sport flavors. The tank bags come with a watertight port that allows riders to recharge handheld devices kept inside or power navigation units.

The list also includes multiple engine protection elements, heated grips, a comfort seat, bar risers and billet levers, aftermarket turn signals and many more. All in all, MT-10 owners can now customize their bikes and enhance their character past the sheer aggressiveness that was instilled by Yamaha right from scratch.
