Yamaha FZ-09 Commercial Revealed, Price Announced

Yamaha released a commercial for their all-new street bike, the FZ-09, marketed in Europe as the MT-09. While the ad shows way too little bike and is centered on the more symbolic representations of ideas to be associated with the new machinery, we can only hope for more bike in the future.
The recently-announced FZ-09 is Yamaha's first triple and boasts a 850cc crossplane engine, in the vein of the R1 architecture. By far not a toy for new or inexperienced riders, the 2014 Yamaha FZ-09 is a light and powerful machine loaded with all the new technology goodies. With 115HP and 85 Nm (63 lb-ft) this is definitely not a joke.

Radial brakes, aluminium frame, ride-by-wire and dual mappings are going to offer a thrilling ride to the discerning motorcyclist.

The US version of the 2014 Yamaha FZ-09 comes with an extremely cool price of only $7,990, while in Canada it retails for a grand more. UK sees it for £ 6,799 ($10,690 or €8,020), and the German price reaches €7, 495 ($9,995), half a grand more for the ABS version.
