Yamaha and MTV Partner for a GI Joe Contest

Only a couple of weeks before the release of the “GI Joe, The Rise of Cobra” movie to the cinemas, Paramount Pictures Corporation and MTV International teamed up with Yamaha to offer a VX1100 watercraft as the main prize of the GI Joe competition.

The latest GI Joe movie will hit the theaters on August 7, 2009, telling the story of an elite military unit comprised of special operatives known as Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, operating out of The Pit and taking on an evil organization led by a notorious arms dealer. MTV International insisted that all prizes are appropriate to the GI Joe film and, as such, they have selected Yamaha Wave Runners to be key prizes in this competition (choosing the Yamaha VX1100 as a main prize).

You can enter the competition here only until September 12, but make sure you read all the rules before making high hopes in winning the all-expenses adventure holiday to Dubai and a GI Joe Yamaha VX1100. One thing is for sure: you have to be aged 18 or over.

Of course, other runner-up prizes are hidden within the website, just waiting to be discovered. We took a closer look at the terms and conditions and found out that there will be three second prize winners and twenty third prize winners.

To make you feel the GI Joe spirit, you will need to enter your own GI Joe or Cobra ‘code name’. Make sure you are original when choosing it, as the first and second prizes will be awarded on this basis.

To be eligible for the second prize, you will also have to find three hidden Yamaha VX1100 within the competition website. To qualify for the third prize, you will have to find at least four of the eight hidden runners up prizes.
