If you're set on going electric and are also looking for a stylish ride, you should be looking into Xkuty One, a Spanish electric scooter boasting fantastic design and all the convenience of EVs.
While its creators call it a "bicycle with no pedals", the Xkuty One is as much a scooter as any other, but it brings forth a sleek and clean design we just don't meet everyday. With an U-shaped frame incorporating dual Lithium batteries, the profile of the Xkuty One is as slender as it gets: no wires and no bulky compartments, just slim, fun-inspiring lines.

The rear hub-integrated 1.5 kW engine keeps mass centralized and matches the clean design of the Xkuty One, while the mountain bike-inspired monoshock link suspension is discrete and half-hidden by the swingarm. The 48V 17 Ah battery can be recharged in 2 hours with the underseat charger and it provides a 50 km (31 miles) range with a max speed of 45 km/h (28 mph).

Charging level and speed are displayed on your own iPhone or Andoid phone placed in the special dock on the handlebars. The Xkuty One is available in a plethora of color combinations and will retail for prices around €2,800 ($3,690), possibly cheaper after the project takes off on a larger scale.
