Who doesn’t dream of riding an e-bike full of LED lights and laser-printed side panels? You would stand out for sure speeding through the city with this one. After launching the campaign on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo on April 6th, the cyberpunk-designed e-bike CyberX has long surpassed its initial target of $25.000, raising more than one million dollars in a blink of an eye.
Visually, this ride looks like something out of the ’70s blended with the newest tech out there. The sci-fi-looking e-bike has a triangular steel frame with LED side panels that change colors while you’re on the road. The body is not the only one who shines bright, but the spokes are also illuminated.

CyberX claims to be fully customizable, so you could use your imagination to design the frame color, the seat color, and the laser-printed panel’s style.

The e-bike is said to have on and off-road capabilities. It uses a 750W belt-drive motor, and it can be used on a dirt track, uphill, or in the city. In Street Mode, the e-bike is restricted to 28 mph (50 kph), so it can be registered as a moped.

Race Mode is another option you can choose from, and it promises to offer more power with 5000W and a top speed of 50 mph (80 kph). Plus, it provides a good 100-mile range, and it can accelerate from 0 to 30 mph (0-48 kph) in just four seconds.

CyberX uses a 72V 32ah lithium-ion battery that charges in six hours with the included 5 amp charger. For an upgrade, it can also come with a 10 amp charger that can cut down the time to three hours.

What’s new to this cyberpunk ride is that two people can go on it, double the action. The seat is designed to fit two persons comfortably on it. While weighing 165 lbs (75 kg) itself, the e-bike can carry up a solid 500 lbs (227kg).

Other features include an LCD screen, Bluetooth speakers, and a USB charging port.

The project seems promising with this fresh e-bike. The production is listed on the Indiegogo page to kick off this October, with shipping to the U.S., Canada, and U.K. to follow soon after its release. The price starts at $3.699 for pre-orders.
