The recently launched BMW 3 Series Gran Tourismo is already making a name for itself, that's why the Bavarian company decided to adapt the models it will be offering to each country.
According to BMW, the UK seems more likely to adopt the xDrive system for this 3er. That's why they recently announced that the Gran Tourismo will be available with the all-wheel-drive transmission in the Queen's land, starting with the 320i model.
For all those that prefer diesel engines, the 320d xDrive GT is currently under consideration by BMW. In case they decide it will be popular enough in the UK, you might be able to order it, starting with next year.
The xDrive 320i will cost an extra £1,500 ($2,300) over the standard rear-wheel-drive and will have all the premium features of the system like the 40:60 power distribution, oversteer and understeer detection and selective power distribution.
