The videos the guys from XCAR make can hardly be called reviews. They take their time in creating them and putting together not only a short clip showcasing the exterior design of the car and the specs but also a bit of its history, especially if it’s a British brand.

Their latest video is no exception. They take a look at the British auto industry and the cars that made them renowned, namely the roadsters. From back in the day when the original Jaguar Roadster made history (the E-Type, of course) and up until today, the cars made on the island were meant to represent agility and sheer driving experience.
With the sixth model in their line-up, MINI tried to go back, old school. The Roadster is capable machine but it’s not intended for everyone. Sure, you can get a frugal model in the shaped of the Cooper D, fitted with a diesel engine, but that would take away the magic of owning and driving a roadster.
