Wunderlich Launches Vario ERGO+ Motorcycle Spoiler

German specialist part supplier Wunderlich has recently completed the development of a new solution that is aimed at eliminating air turbulence with windshields for motorcycle riders. The company has therefore released the new individually adjustable spoiler attachment, dubbed Vario ERGO+.

A very special feature of Wunderlich’s Vario ERGO+ spoiler attachment is the shape of the spoiler at the top of the screen, which is intended to dynamically transport wind energy over the head of the rider, thereby preventing air turbulence in the helmet region.

This feature is unique among screen spoiler attachments currently available on the market.

For EUR 79.90 (approx. $111), the Vario-ERGO+ spoiler attachment is delivered with a General Operating Licence (ABE) which is applicable for many original screens from various motorcycle manufacturers.

The spoiler allows for easy continuous adjustment (inclination, height and proximity to the rider), and is approved for various motorcycle models, including BMW (K 1300 R/S, F 650/800 GS, R 1200 GS/Adventure, S 1000 RR), Ducati (Monster, Multistrada), Honda (CBF, Hornet, Transalp, Varadero, Africa Twin), Kawasaki (ZRX, GPZ, ER-6 f), Suzuki (V-Strom, Bandit, SV series), Triumph (Tiger) and Yamaha (Super Tenere).

“The "Vario-ERGO+" spoiler attachment is continuously adjustable and fits all 3 - 6 mm windshields. Use of the spoiler ensures optimum strain relief for the helmet and upper body regions, and its aerodynamic shape significantly reduces air turbulence and noise emission,” the company explains in a statement.

“Anodized duraluminium, a shatterproof Lexan screen, as well as faster mounting and demounting, and a more secure grip via a clamping assembly, guarantee rider safety and comfort,” the statement further adds.
