If Mad Max lived today, he'd most likely have abandoned the dusty matte paint of his bike in favor of some of the Wunderlich custom builds. So here's the BMW S1000RR Mad Max in carbon fiber and sober, yet utterly aggressive custom parts, a bike which would turn a lot of heads, in case the rider won't just fly by at a ridiculous speed.
The Mad max has been designed in cooperation with tire giant Continental for their new off-road tire TKC 80. Having ab S1000RR and such knobby tires makes us winder how would such a beast ride in the desert given the non-touring stance of the rider on the bike. The modified handlebars are simply wonderful and will raise a bit the position, though most likely not enough for off-road driving.

However, if we look at the Wunderlich Mad Max as a design exercise, we cannot help noticing the incredibly powerful feeling this bike has about it. We totally dig the edgy design of the build and how much it contrasts with the fluid shapes of the original machine.

Not sure about the functionality of the project as it is, but loading some street tires on the Wunderlich Mad Max would be indeed overkill.
