Although its just a rendering, if Toyota/Subaru ever decide to make such a car happen, you will hear stinky-rich people labeling it the poor-man’s Ferrari FF, just like all haters did with the Toyota MR2.
Even so, we’ll just let them make fools out of themselves and continue to fear speed bumps and tall curbs not to ding their precious metal prancing horses, because this GT 86 Shooting Brake will be more practical and will offer the same amount of fun at low/medium speeds.
Oh, and if I remember correctly, Subaru actually did showcase some GT 86-inspired shooting brake concept at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, called the Cross Sport Design. So maybe a shooting brake model may be around the corner.
Now imagine it in some bright colors, like we did in the photos bellow, and sounding like an old Subaru rally car.
