Here’s a police chase that is not like any other you’ve seen. If you expect this to play out like something out of the “Fast & Furious” movies, you’ve come to the wrong place.
Think “Dumb & Dumber” for a better idea of what you should expect. A suspect driving a battered down car was being chased by a police cruiser, which turned out to be carrying the world’s most incompetent cop.

The video was posted to the famous reddit thread Idiots in Cars and boy does it live up to the name. It doesn’t have a time stamp or a location, but we’d venture a guess that this happened somewhere in Eastern Europe.

The car with the suspect(s) and the police cruiser arrive at a roundabout next to a construction site. The road is still being built, so the area is fairly deserted. The cruiser hits the curb on the roundabout and comes to a stop, but the other vehicle just keeps going in circles.

That’s when one of the cops jumps out from the cruiser and starts to chase it on foot, also going in circles. At one point, the cop tries to “surprise” the suspect by jumping in front of his car from behind one of the parked dump trucks and then tries to shoot out the tires, but to little success.

At the end of the video, the car with the suspect(s) drives off (into the sunset), while a crowd of passers-by look on the poor cop that has been doing all the running, now left behind. His mate is back in the cruiser, on the suspect’s tail.

“I don’t know who’s the bigger idiot here,” reads the caption to the video. We wouldn’t know to say either, if we had to answer that difficult question, but at least they make for a very, very entertaining viewing.
