World’s First Personal Flying Simulator Comes With High-End Luxury Optionals

Some of the racing simulators available for commercial use have evolved so much that even professional drivers use them to train for the track. Meanwhile, petrolheads around the planet spend hundred of dollars on the latest video games and the most advanced motorsport consoles.

But what happens with those who dream about flying their own lightweight personal aircraft one day? Well, it seems there’s a company out there that took care of that problem too.

Last time we were looking into the game industry we were somewhere strapped between GTA V and Gran Turismo 6, still looking into the cars, the visuals and trying to figure out a way not to get addicted to any of them. Then there’s the Vesaro Motion Racing Simulator with its several models. This one most likely is the closest thing to real life racing, but considering the hefty price, we’re going to resume to the other two so far.

Anyway, there are hundreds of racing games we could talk about, but we would like to avoid doing so since we found something that probably tops all the other. Again, a product designed for the few that can actually afford it, the Ivolo is probably the world’s first personal flying simulator. Not only is the company making them offering luxury optionals such as golden parts, jewels and special light effects, but the simulator is in fact designed to be mounted anywhere from a garage to a yacht.

The simulator’s creators, Italian company Xesa Systems based in Cremona, claim it’s providing all the real sensations of a moving craft on ground, over the seas and in the air. To keep things as accurate as possible, the company is using some of the best aerospace simulation technologies, such as immersive visual system, two-seater fully operational to drive, commands with control loading and customizable cockpit.

Some of the specific flying effects are being recreated with the “pilot” getting to experience things such as aircraft maneuvers, ground effects, in-flight turbulences, landing gear effects, variations due to engine failures & flap operations.

Since we’re talking about a premium product, the simulation experience is coming with a set of accessories like retractable automatic ladder, air conditioning in the cabin, emergency systems, perimetral safety fences, hangar designed to best fit in any property.

Editor's note: judging by the peculiar way the website looks, the lack of social networks accounts and extremely low activity for more than a year, we’re not sure if Ivolo Simulator is still on the market. Even so, we thought it was worth pointing out how far opulence can go.
