When the Manhart MH5 S Biturbo was unveiled by the German tuner, most of the BMW community was reluctant towards it. Not because Manhart Racing isn’t a good tuner but because the M5 is such a good car and so many people are tuning it that it’s hard to say which is fastest.

However, we believed them and after witnessing in action we were convinced. This is the fastest F10 M5 around at the moment. The 710 HP and 860 Nm (634 lb-ft) of torque coming out of the 4.4-liter biturbo V8 engine under the bonnet will leave you breathless for a couple of seconds until reaching 100 km/h (62 mph), 3.9 seconds to be exact.

Recently, the car participated in an event held at an airport in Germany and put on a show for the audience, along with another 2 M3s prepped by the same company. They did some laps on an improvised circuit and at one point, while taking a break, the front right wheel of the M5 seemed to be on fire.

Of course, it wasn’t, it was just smoke from the brakes but it makes you wonder. They’re asking $165,185 (€129,000) for this car. Shouldn’t the brakes be more efficient? Just asking…
