Another page was written in the Guinness Book of World Records, as adventurers Buck Perley and Amy Mathieson have completed the world's longest motorcycle trip in one single country.
The two traveled through each and every one of China's provinces and took 146 days to complete a 33,357, 15 kilometer (20,731.6 miles) trip, from July 19 through December 11, 2013.
Aboard a Chinese CFMOTO CF650-TR machine, the two have reached amazing places in China, the 3rd lowest inland place on earth, or the Everest Base Camp in the Himalaya mountains, the grass plains of the Inner Mongolia, the Xinjiang Desert, and have ridden through both freezing Tibetan temperatures and the tropical weather in the south of the country.
Perley adn Mathieson also raised more than $10,000 for Free Lunch for Children, a charity which provides meals to the students of 200 rural schools in China. Find out more on this amazing trip visiting the Great Ride of China blog.
