World's First X5 Ute Hails from… Australia, of Course

The word 'Ute' might not mean anything to you if you're not from Australia. If it does, you'll probably think it's related to tribes and such stuff. However, for the Aussies, this word describes a certain type of vehicle.
We're talking about utility vehicles, or trucks as the Americans would call them. Now the title makes more sense, doesn't it? The word apparently is derived from "utility" or "coupe utility" and describes passenger vehicles with a cargo tray in the rear.

Saying this is the first X5 Ute is definitely true. After looking at the Fluid Motor Union's Project X, we're not surprise such a Bimmer came to life. Actually, somehow we were expecting it. It's just another Zombie Apocalypse vehicle.

The 'hybrid' was built by the guys from Motorline BMW and looks so good you might mistake it for a production car. Rest assured though, BMW doesn't build this kind of X5s, for the moment. However, upon looking at the photo gallery below, they might change their minds.
