World's Fastest Audi S3 Beats World's Fastest Audi S4

A little bit earlier, we gave you a video that showed the fastest Audi S4 in the world, with the vehicle producing over 800 wheel horsepower and posting a quarter mile time of 9.61s.

That took place in the US, but Europe now strikes back, with, of course, a smaller car. We are talking about the world’s fastest Audi S3, which also uses a VR6 engine (we don’t know if it’s the same generation) with around 800 hp, but recently recorded a quarter mile time of 8.84s.

The powerplant, which, again, like in the aforementioned S4, uses a turbo setup, allows the extra hot hatch to deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 3.11 seconds. The engine is running a 1.55 bar turbo setup, but if the pressure is increased to 3.2 bar, the unit will develop over 1,000 hp (let’s hope the internals and the powertrain can take it.

By the way, who said that Greece is having financial issues? The adjacent clip shows how much fun these people are having during a drag race, where, of course, the crazy S3 turns many, many heads.

PS: we're waiting for the response of the "Saudis in Audis"...
