Ducati confirmed the dates for the 2016 edition of the World Ducati Week. This year's event will take place at the Marco Simoncelli Misano World Circuit in San Marino, only miles from Valentino Rossi's hometown of Tavullia.
The dates announced are July 1-3, 2016. This is going to be the ninth edition of the World Ducati Week, the worldwide gathering of Ducati fans that is being organized every other year.

Tickets will go on sale from March 23, with passes available for rider and bike, as well as for rider, bike and passenger, or visitor, for one day and for the entire event, so real Ducati fans have little excuse to miss the World Ducati Week 2016.

WDW2016 is most likely going to be the biggest event staged until now, as it coincides with Ducati's 90th anniversary. Making things even better, 2015 has been the best year ever for Ducati in terms of worldwide sales, and the Italian manufacturer also introduced an unprecedented number of new models.

Ducati fans will also be able to get a hands-on experience with both the company's newest models and the existing ones, including the new Scrambler models, the all-new Multistrada 1200 Enduro, or the XDiavel, voted the best-looking bike at the EICMA 2015 show.

Ducati athletes in the MotoGP and World Superbike will also be attending the event, so you'll get a chance to meet the 2016 Ducati MotoGP Team riders, Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone, as well as premier class test rider Michele Pirro. Satellite riders Danilo Petrucci and Scott Redding will be there too, as well as Hector Barbera, Loris Baz, Yonny Hernandez and Eugene Laverty, who also use Ducati machinery in MotoGP.

WSKB rider Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano representing Aruba.it Racing - Ducati will be a part of the WDW2016 as well, alongside retired champions Carlos Checa and Troy Bayliss. Of course, the recently-appointed Ducati brand ambassador and test rider MotoGP Legend Casey Stoner and many others will be there celebrating nine decades of Desmo-glory.

Keep an eye on wdw.ducati.it for World Ducati Week 2016 tickets. In 2014, a record attendance of over 65,000 was recorded, so you can imagine that the WDW2016 will look like the big metal festivals!
