A white Dodge Challenger speeding on the highway with a dozen police cruisers pursuing it really brings back the Vanishing Point aroma. However, in this case it also comes with a dash of sour lemon juice as a woman and her family in a minivan managed to abruptly end the chase with a few punches and a door-to-the-face maneuver.
The helicopter camera is targeting a white Dodge Challenger (possibly an R/T Plus judging by that side stripe) drove by a guy suspected of robbery on a highway near Dallas. Although the traffic looks pretty intense, the driver keeps flooring it, swerving left and right to avoid the rest of the cars.

It went pretty well for a while, managing to leave the cops a bit behind, but at some point, all the lanes were blocked by three cars waiting at a stop light ahead. The suspect tried squeezing through them but miscalculated his maneuver and ended up in a crash.

However, the minivan he bumped into happened to haul the wrong family for his cause. The mom angrily jumped from her seat and managed to catch the aggressor right as he was trying to exit the Challenger. She slammed the door back into his face and after her husband arrived at the scene they used brute force to immobilize the felon.

On another side of the story, check out their kid getting out of the car and starting to practice a fault maneuver for his next soccer game. Either that or he was in shock and we apologize for the wrong joke.

Thankfully, no one looks to have been suffered serious injuries.
